Faith often forms an important part of who we are. But when you step into someone else's place of worship, you can also understand people better and see how much we have in common.
For more than 5 years, Interfaith Network @ North West has organised visits to temples, mosques, churches, and other places of worship so people can learn more about the values and beliefs of different faiths in Singapore. Through interfaith dialogues with faith leaders, participants have also come to appreciate the diversity that forms part of Singapore's unique DNA.
A Visit to Masjid Assyafaah
In March 2026, Masjid Assyafaah hosted more than 100 students and teachers from Methodist Girls' School (MGS) to share more about Muslim culture and Islamic religious practices.
Here's what our mayor had to say about the visit.
Interfaith Network @ North West believes in embracing and celebrating the diversity that enriches our community through interfaith conversations and visits. To participate in our upcoming events and find out how you can be part of this initiative, email northwestcdc_partnerships@pa.gov.sg
